About Us

We’re a family owned and operated Canadian trucking company based out of Vancouver, B.C. The company was founded by Pardaman Sekhon, an owner-operator, in January 1982 and began as a single truck operation. Over the years, P.Sekhon Trucking Ltd. has transformed from its simple beginnings to a fleet of trucks with various types of equipment which services the Greater Vancouver Regional District. Today, Pardaman and his son Rocky proudly operate the business out of the Vancouver head office, having established a reputation of providing quality service. The company fleet includes: 23 trucks and trailers; a water truck; 8 excavators; and a Cat front wheel loader. Our current business relationships and connections within the local trucking industry, afford us the opportunity to access additional equipment, if required, to meet our clients’ needs.

Daily operations mainly cover the Greater Vancouver Region stretching to Whistler, B.C.; however, in the past, we have provided services throughout the Province of British Columbia. Our main services include hauling:

• Sand, gravel, and other fill to and from construction sites

• Excavated material from job sites to eco-friendly designated dumps and other approved

  sites.

• Asphalt for paving of local roadways and highways.

• Excavating and shoring

No project is too small or too big for our company to handle. Whether the job is local or outside the GVRD (within BC), we supply trucks to all these areas.

We strive to reduce our environmental impact by using bio-diesel fuel blends to run our company fleet; this helps keep our emissions low, decreasing our carbon footprint in one of the most beautiful places on earth. While other companies leave for outlying areas, we proudly remain one of the largest, local, and only Vancouver-based trucking business.

The company fleet consists of, but is not limited to, the following equipment, which may be used for site excavation or contract hauling:

• A Fleet of Company Tandem Truck & Axle transfers

• Several Company Truck & Ponies

• Tandems (all our trucks are capable of working Tandem)

• Company tri-drive trucks with both Pony and 4-axle transfer attachments

• Company tractor trucks with attachments of tandem end dumps and low-beds

• Water truck

• Multiple Excavators

• Cat front wheel loaders

All Trucks are equipped with beacon lights, two way radios, and four-way strobe lights which allow them to enter and exit construction sites, highways, and public roads with maximum safety.
